The family of the founder of a multi-million-dollar film company experiences some tragic events during the holidays and two sisters must set aside a life-long rivalry and come together to turn the company around and keep the family intact.

Detectives and best friends Andreas and Simon lead vastly different lives; Andreas has settled down with his beautiful wife and son; while Simon, recently divorced, spends most of his waking hours getting drunk at the local strip club. But all that changes when the two of them are called out to a domestic dispute between a junkie couple, caught in a vicious cycle of violence and drugs. The film is based on a true story. Jakus, managing director of a scooter-factory suddenly resigns, since he disagrees with his superiors in the ministry on several points. Disregarding the attacks of his family and friends, he returns to his original job and becomes a welder, which is not very easy because of his records.

Jordan Chance was wrongfully imprisoned for ten years. Upon release, he becomes a lawyer and investigates the case of a Mexican woman convicted of murder. The local police give him every reason to believe she was railroaded to ease a tense racial status quo, and they will stop at almost nothing to prevent the case from being reopened.

Back in 2001, action director Sam Wong Ming-Sing shepherded a young group of lower-class dancers into the semi-big leagues. Thanks to great effort and timely sponsorship, the troupe was able to display their hip-hop street dance stylings as back-up dancers in Andy Lau's summer concert.
